Rock 80 Festival’s CarnaRock runs Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at Praça do Lido, with bands, DJs, craft beers, food and family-friendly areas.
Praça do Lido in Copacabana will host CarnaRock on January 31 and February 1, 2026. The event runs from 2 pm to 11 pm and takes over the open-air square with a plural concept. In addition, it brings together rock, Carnival-style music, food, and programming for all ages.
Across two days, the public will see seven bands and one Carnival block. The schedule starts daily at 2 pm with DJs and continues into the evening. In this way, the festival proposes a cross-generational snapshot of rock.
Food, beers, and market fair
CarnaRock also highlights a diverse food experience. The event features more than 60 craft beer labels. In addition, it will host an American BBQ-style grill festival, spotlighting smoked ribs, plus artisanal burgers.
A fashion and crafts fair rounds out the program. Meanwhile, the festival offers a kids’ area and a pet-friendly structure. As a result, families, children, and pets are invited to enjoy the square in a safe, creative setting.
