Family winery Vinhos Larentis launches Clarete de Verano 2025, a Marselan–Malbec young red crafted for summer, with its label chosen by members of the Larentis Premium Club.

First clarete marks a new chapter for Larentis

Based in Brazil’s Vale dos Vinhedos, Vinhos Larentis is releasing its first clarete, the Clarete de Verano 2025. With a limited production of 4,000 bottles, the wine arrives in time to toast Christmas and the start of 2026.

The new label is a young red wine made from Marselan and Malbec, designed specifically for warm summer days. The recommended serving temperature is 10–12 degrees Celsius, underlining its refreshing character.

The launch follows the global trend of lighter reds suited for outdoor occasions, relaxed gatherings and easy food pairings, adding a contemporary, versatile style to the Larentis portfolio.

Marselan–Malbec blend in a luminous, aromatic style

The Clarete de Verano is made from grapes grown in the family’s estate vineyards in Vale dos Vinhedos. The wine combines the fruit-forward structure of Malbec with the delicacy of Marselan, which undergoes partial maceration.

The result is a luminous, young and aromatic wine that fits the global move towards fresh, easy-drinking reds, with less weight and more drinkability. It is ideal for casual, open-air settings.

The style was conceived to pair with light summer cuisine, including salads, seafood, charcuterie boards and grilled dishes. It is a flexible option for barbecues, picnics and gatherings on balconies or terraces.

Amber bottle and screw cap underline a modern profile

To better protect the wine, Larentis opted for an amber bottle, which shields the liquid from light exposure and helps preserve its freshness and aromatics over time.

The label also features a screw-cap closure, reinforcing the wine’s modern, practical positioning. The closure ensures secure sealing, adds convenience for on-the-go consumption and is fully recyclable.

According to the winery, Clarete de Verano 2025 expands the range with a contemporary style while maintaining the handcrafted care and family identity that define Larentis wines.

Wine club members choose the final label

The launch brings the winery’s closest audience into the creative process. Members of the Larentis Premium Club voted on the final label via QR code, choosing between two exclusive designs created for Clarete de Verano.

The winning concept was inspired by the sun rays that light up Vale dos Vinhedos. The design evokes the golden tones of summer sunsets, echoing the wine’s comforting, refreshing feel and its connection with nature.

To make the experience even more meaningful, club members received the wine in advance, tasted it and then cast their votes based on that first-hand impression. The process opened a backstage step of the winery to consumers.

Release date and closer ties with Larentis community

The Clarete de Verano 2025 will be available in retail outlets and on the Larentis online shop from 15 December, ushering in the brightest season of the year with freshness and lightness.

The initiative underscores Larentis’ intention to walk side by side with those who follow its journey, building authentic relationships and co-creating new wines with its most loyal community.

By combining innovation, consumer participation and its family-driven DNA, Larentis positions Clarete de Verano as a summer red made to celebrate nature, sunsets and shared moments.
