Menswear brand Hermes Inocencio launches Mansa Verão 2026 in a star-studded Ipanema party with drinks, DJ André Pinguim and African-inspired fashion.
Menswear, signature drinks and music in Ipanema
The cool menswear label HERMES INOCENCIO, led by partners Hermes Inocencio and Gilson Rodrigues, stirred up Ipanema last Saturday. The brand hosted a lively party to celebrate its new summer collection. In this setting, fashion, nightlife and music blended by the beach.
The night featured signature drinks based on gin, vodka and ice-cold prosecco, paired with assorted bites. The menu was curated by Roberto Moura, responsible for the event’s buffet. On the decks, renowned DJ and music producer André Pinguim kept the dance floor moving.
Mansa Verão 2026: African-inspired collection
This year, the designer, often called the “darling of celebrities”, presented the collection Mansa Verão 2026. The line brought African culture to Ipanema in high style, inspired by Mansa Musa, the King of Kings of Mali. Thus, the collection connected contemporary menswear with historic and ancestral references.
To host the presentation, Hermes Inocencio invited actor Fábio Nascimento. Known for his charisma and strong stage presence, he led the event with irreverence and energy. His performance helped highlight the narrative behind the looks.
Fábio, who plays Federal Agent Gilson in the series Arcanjo Renegado, embodied Emperor Mansa Musa of Mali for the launch. He interpreted the character with confidence, adding a theatrical touch to the runway. In this way, the show blended fashion, performance and cultural storytelling.
Celebrities, guests and a pop soundtrack
The party gathered celebrities, press and invited guests from Rio’s cultural scene. The celebration went on until 11 p.m., to a soundtrack focused on pop music. The atmosphere balanced a fashion launch mood with a relaxed social gathering.
Names such as Roberto Birindelli, Fábio Nascimento, Diogo Bonfim, Veluma, Marcus Tardin and Rodrigo Candelot were in attendance. Also present were Denise Klauck, Van Furlanetti, Jamal, Anna Flávia Camargo and Rosane Braga, among others. The guest list underscored the label’s strong connection with artists and influencers.
Beauty and styling for designer Hermes Inocencio were handled by Luiz Moreno. Event photos were taken by Daniel Pinheiro, Leo Marinho and Marcelo Cerqueira. Press relations and communication were managed by DG assessoria e comunicação.
