    CONMEBOL names Atos official innovation partner for club competitions

     Atos becomes CONMEBOL’s official innovation partner, creating new digital platforms for Libertadores and Sudamericana fans.

      

    Strategic alliance to enhance the digital fan experience

     

     CONMEBOL has announced a strategic agreement with Atos, a global leader in AI-driven digital transformation, reinforcing its commitment to innovation in South American football. Atos will be the first Official Innovation Partner for the confederation’s club competitions.

     

     Under the partnership, Atos will lead the development of a new website and mobile app for CONMEBOL’s club tournaments. The first phase will focus on CONMEBOL Libertadores and CONMEBOL Sudamericana, aiming to boost fan engagement and improve the overall digital experience.

     

     The announcement was made in São Paulo on November 29, 2025, and marks a new chapter in CONMEBOL’s relationship with technology. The confederation seeks to modernize its digital presence and deepen its connection with millions of supporters across the continent.

      

    Bringing Atos’ global major events expertise to South America

     

     Atos is an AI-powered global technology company that has delivered digital solutions in South America for more than 30 years. As a long-standing specialist in major sporting events, it now joins CONMEBOL’s most important club competitions.

     

     The scope of the alliance covers CONMEBOL Libertadores, CONMEBOL Sudamericana, men’s and women’s CONMEBOL Libertadores, CONMEBOL Recopa and the confederation’s key annual events. Atos will bring its experience in complex, high‑visibility projects into the South American football ecosystem.

     

     CONMEBOL reiterates its commitment to investing in innovation and IT efficiency, adding top‑tier partners and cutting‑edge technology. The goal is to raise competition standards on and off the pitch while improving communication with fans.

      

    Leadership statements: vision, transparency and growth

     

     “At CONMEBOL, we are committed to continuously innovating and strengthening our competitions, building partnerships that bring tangible value to South American football,” says Alejandro Domínguez, CONMEBOL president. He emphasizes a long‑term vision based on transparency and excellence.

     

     Domínguez notes that the focus remains on clubs, member associations and the millions of fans who give life to the game. “We will continue to drive projects that elevate the football experience and project its greatness into the future,” he adds.

     

     According to Juan Emilio Roa, CONMEBOL’s Commercial and Broadcast Director, the commercial area works to enhance every aspect of South American football. The new alliance helps strengthen commercial standards, audiovisual offerings and the value delivered to sponsors.

     

     “Our goal is for every partner to find in CONMEBOL a solid, modern and global platform capable of amplifying the greatness of our competitions,” Roa says. The partnership with Atos is therefore also a strategic move for media and brand positioning.
