     After a standout Paris season, the beauty artist creates soft, natural looks with rosy accents for NYFW’s top designers.

      

    A refined take on modern beauty

     

     The New York Fashion Week officially kicks off on February 11, running through February 16. Following a praised season in Paris, Marcello Costa arrives in New York to lead the beauty direction of nine runway shows, known for his signature minimalist aesthetic and fresh, luminous approach.

     

     The Brazilian-born artist will collaborate with renowned names such as Nardos, Berta, Bach Mai, Romeo Hunte, and Bibhu Mohapatra, along with ESE Azenabor, Advisry, Valerian Hughes, and JPress — cementing his presence among the key voices shaping contemporary fashion.

      

    A minimalist, expressive vision

     

     For this edition, Costa focuses on a clean, understated look — natural skin textures, subtle eye highlights, and rosy lips evoke effortless elegance. “Pink is definitely strong this season. My approach mixes minimalism, usability, and modernity — a natural beauty that remains sophisticated,” he explains.

     

     Balancing Haute Couture refinement with street-ready wearability, his beauty direction reflects a contemporary, timeless tone, rooted in creativity, precision, and global appeal.

      

    An international career of excellence

     

     With over 20 years of experience, Marcello Costa has worked behind the scenes of iconic events like the Oscars, Golden Globes, Grammy Awards, and the Cannes Film Festival. Trained at institutions like Harvard and L’Oréal Academy, his artistry bridges technique and emotion, establishing him as a key global reference in beauty for fashion and entertainment industries.
