New Balance introduces the 1080 v15 with Infinion midsole for lighter, longer-lasting cushioning, priced at R$ 1,299.99 in Brazil.
New Balance starts 2026 by unveiling a new generation of a key running icon, the NB 1080 v15. The model is positioned as a global reference for comfort and daily training performance.
The worldwide release took place on January 15, with Brazil availability starting on January 23. In this way, the brand reinforces its focus on continuous product evolution.
Infinion technology and long-term use
The global launch message features the phrase In It For The Long Run. It points to long-term commitment and connects with runners who log high weekly mileage.
The NB 1080 v15 introduces the Infinion midsole, a new foam technology. According to the brand, it was designed to preserve softness, responsiveness, and stability for longer periods.
In addition, New Balance highlights more consistent cushioning over time. Thus, the shoe aims to keep stable performance even after weeks of training.
Higher geometry and smoother transitions
Another update is the new midsole geometry, nearly 2 mm higher than the 1080 v14. As a result, the model increases protection against impact.
The 6 mm drop remains unchanged. In this manner, the line keeps its identity and supports a more natural stride with smoother transitions.
The brand also points to improved impact absorption and a propulsive feel in each step. Therefore, the 1080 v15 targets a more fluid run in daily sessions, long runs, and races.
“The NB 1080 v15 represents a new level for the daily running experience. We focused on improving technology, weight, and durability to serve runners who want absolute comfort without giving up a responsive ride and strong performance over many kilometers.”
Lighter build and updated upper
New Balance also reports a 39 g weight reduction compared with the v14. The shoe weighs 261 g in men’s size 41.
The upper was updated with lightweight, breathable mesh. Moreover, molded contours aim for a more secure fit and a modern, refined look.
The outsole uses optimized rubber for durability and traction on urban surfaces. As a result, the brand aims to keep reliability without adding unnecessary weight.
Availability and price
The shoe has been available on the brand’s e-commerce since January 15. Next, it reaches New Balance stores and partner retailers in Brazil on January 23.
The suggested retail price for the NB 1080 v15 is R$ 1,299.99. Finally, the brand recommends it for daily training, easy mileage, long runs, walking, and races.
