On Tuesday night, 2, Ronaldo Nazário and Celina Locks were among the highlights of the BrazilFoundation gala dinner. The couple, who lead Fundação Fenômenos, took part in the event celebrating the organization’s 25th anniversary. BrazilFoundation connects social leaders and collectives to a global support network.
During the ceremony, major names in Brazilian philanthropy were honored for their work with minorities and vulnerable groups. Among them, Ronaldo and Celina received the Family Philanthropy award. In this way, the foundation recognized their joint dedication to Fundação Fenômenos’ initiatives.
Commitment to social change
Ronaldo highlighted the indescribable emotion of helping change so many lives. He stressed that many people only need one opportunity to become “true fenômenos”. Thus, he reinforced the foundation’s mission to expand its social impact.
Celina recalled that Fundação Fenômenos has been working for 15 years to help build a better Brazil. She noted that this is only the beginning of the institution’s story. Finally, she expressed optimism about the next achievements to come.
Nationwide impact
Today, Fundação Fenômenos has positively impacted more than 690,000 people across the country. The work is carried out alongside social leaders and partner organizations in vulnerable communities and regions. In this manner, the institution extends its presence throughout Brazil.
Towards the end of 2025, the foundation remains committed to promoting social transformation in all Brazilian states. Its initiatives aim to strengthen local actions, support structured projects and encourage community leadership. Thus, the organization consolidates itself as a reference in high-impact philanthropy.
Recent initiatives by Fundação Fenômenos
In recent months, the foundation has stood side by side with community leaders in several regions. The team attended the Marcha das Mulheres Negras in Brasília, which gathered more than 100,000 women. The march highlighted demands for equality, social justice and the fight against racism.
In addition, the institution took part in the 2nd Prêmio David Miranda, in Rio de Janeiro. The award recognizes outstanding social initiatives in the state. Then, the foundation joined the Zwanga Fashion Week, in Amapá, an event focused on fashion and entrepreneurship.
At the invitation of Fórum CT, Fundação Fenômenos will also participate in an event in Amapá. The program will feature meetings, talks and lectures on education and social impact. In this way, the organization continues to foster dialogue with key agents of change.
