Rafael Sanches launches a new space at Largo da Batata, marking a creative cycle that connects art, body, space and nature.
After three years of creative silence, artist Rafael Sanches opens a new environment in 2025 at Largo da Batata, São Paulo. The space signals a new phase in his career and stands as a meeting point between art, architecture and presence.
A space for convergence and renewal
More than a studio, the environment is described as a living axis where process, artwork and life coexist. From this core, Sanches relaunches his original production, including artworks, multiples, sculptures and publications that deepen his research into time, form and symbol.
“This space is not a place for exhibition, but for convergence. It is where the work breathes, reorganizes and pulses again in direct contact with people,” says the artist.
Ongoing research and creative expansion
Since the age of 22, Rafael Sanches has developed a body of work shaped by the intersection of rhythm, structure and the intangible. His practice is grounded in the idea of systems, connecting art, fashion, architecture and writing into a transmedia creative framework.
His projects include Filadélfio, a slow fashion concept brand launched in 2016, and Casa Vista, an installation created during the quarantine that merges art and architecture within a natural environment. The new space introduces unprecedented works, live performances, collaborative actions with CreativeClub™ and the launch of the book “Arte à Zen”.
Career and recognition
Born in São Paulo, Sanches began his career selling his own paintings. His visual research led to international murals and collaborations with brands such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Heineken, XP and On Running, as well as clients including Vintage Culture, Anitta and João Carlos Camargo.
Honored by Forbes Under30 and MIT, Sanches reinforces his creative vision through this new space, which unites art, space and life into a continuous system and marks the beginning of a renewed artistic cycle.
