On Saturday (14),
Rede Windsor Hoteis kicked off Carnival with its traditional
Carnival Feijoada at
Windsor Oceânico hotel in Barra da Tijuca.
Diogo Nogueira repeated last year’s success, thrilling the audience with samba classics like “Maracangalha” and “Toda Menina Baiana”. The setlist featured a Carnival medley with “É Hoje” and “Explode Coração”, plus songs by
João Nogueira,
Beth Carvalho,
Zeca Pagodinho and
Arlindo Cruz. Thus, Diogo celebrated Brazil’s samba heritage with great energy.

Supported by Rede Windsor, the
Clube do Samba, founded by
João Nogueira in 1979, preserves Brazilian musical roots. President
Ângela Nogueira emphasized partnerships to expand the
Clubinho do Samba, serving over 1,500 children with music, theater and capoeira workshops. The event offered a complete feijoada buffet with nine meats, varied sides and
open bar including beer and caipirinha. Therefore, the feijoada blended samba, gastronomy and social responsibility in a memorable celebration.
