    Koral marks 2 years with a six-hands dinner in Ipanema

    Koral hosts a six-hands dinner on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m., with an exclusive menu by Pedro Coronha, Newton Rique, and Lúcio Vieira.

    Koral will celebrate its second anniversary with a six-hands dinner. The event takes place on February 10, starting at 7:00 p.m., featuring an exclusive menu created for the occasion. In addition, the restaurant is opening the celebration to the public with a chef-led experience.

    Host chef Pedro Coronha welcomes Newton Rique of Clan BBQ and Lúcio Vieira of Lilia. Together, the trio proposes a journey that blends distinct styles and techniques. In this way, the dinner reinforces Koral’s authorial approach and bold flavors.

    The celebration is supported by partners including Frescatto and Norp Uniformes. According to the release, the goal is to elevate details from ingredients to presentation. Thus, the event frames the anniversary as a curated gastronomic moment.

    Snacks and starters

    The menu opens with snacks such as shrimp tempura with fermented tomato, mini romaine, and shiso (R$ 59). Another option is brioche toasted in seaweed butter, with poultry-liver mousse, smoked eel, and cashew gastrique (R$ 42). Next, the lineup includes a spiny-lobster temaki with sriracha, sliced scallop, and crispy potato (R$ 89).

    Starters include a corn chawanmushi with oysters and toasted radish (R$ 54). The menu also features a reinterpretation of crab shell with dendê aioli and a fresh salad (R$ 56). In addition, it brings a langoustine carpaccio with citrus vinaigrette and sourdough (R$ 139).

    Mains and desserts

    Main dishes include squid with pork jus, heart of palm, and baby corn (R$ 99). The grilled fish of the day comes with endive, Brazil-nut cream, and shellfish emulsion (R$ 139). Finally, the grilled denver steak is served with pimenta-de-cheiro au poivre, smoked mushrooms, and spinach purée (R$ 169).

    To finish, desserts include an ice cream sandwich with amarena ice cream (R$ 44) and a classic tiramisu (R$ 42). Another option combines matcha, yogurt, and lemongrass (R$ 44). In this way, the menu closes with choices balancing freshness and comfort.

    Reservations are open via WhatsApp at +55 (21) 99513-6437. The restaurant is located in Ipanema on Rua Barão da Torre. Therefore, the anniversary is set as a one-night event built around an exclusive menu and a meeting of chefs.
