In Itaipava, Soberano Jazz Club hosts Fábio Rizental, Maria Swenson Trio, and “Flores Astrais,” a Secos & Molhados tribute, from Jan 22–24.
Soberano Jazz Club, located at Estação Locanda in Itaipava (RJ), is presenting a week lineup blending jazz fusion, bossa nova, and 1970s references. The venue pairs live shows with Radamés Bistrô service and signature cocktails. In addition, it positions the program as an integrated leisure experience in the region.
The schedule includes reinterpretations linked to Clube da Esquina, bossa nova repertoire, and a Secos & Molhados tribute. This way, audiences get different styles across three consecutive nights. Performances run from Thursday through Saturday.
Thursday: Fábio Rizental
On Thursday, January 22, at 8 p.m., guitarist Fábio Rizental opens the week with “Canções de Minas.” He revisits classics by Milton Nascimento, Lô Borges, and Clube da Esquina. Then, he filters the repertoire through jazz fusion language and improvisation.
The night focuses on Minas Gerais music with a fresh, technical approach. In addition, the set engages the movement’s melodic strength. Tickets are available via Sympla, according to the organizers.
Friday: Maria Swenson Trio
On Friday, January 23, at 9 p.m., the stage hosts Maria Swenson Trio. The Petrópolis-based artist returns to piano with a cross-generational setlist. In this manner, the selection moves through bossa nova and international classics from the 1980s and 1990s.
The show is built around an intimate listening atmosphere. In addition, the night is framed as a slower-paced experience. Tickets are also sold through Sympla.
Saturday: Secos & Molhados tribute
On Saturday, January 24, at 9 p.m., “Flores Astrais – A Tribute to Secos & Molhados” takes the stage. The show recreates the sensory experience of the group that introduced Ney Matogrosso. In addition, it won the Profissionais da Música Award.
The production combines costumes, makeup, and performance to revisit classics such as “Sangue Latino” and “O Vira.” Then, the staging emphasizes the 1970s aesthetic and musical legacy. Tickets are available on Sympla, according to the production.

Soberano highlights planned acoustic comfort for enjoying the show while still holding conversations at the table. Radamés Bistrô is presenting the “Brasil em Acordes” menu, featuring items such as braised lamb shoulder and vegan moqueca. In addition, the venue offers a fixed menu with food options, artisan burgers, and bar snacks.
Espaço Havana adds an outdoor balcony aimed at cigar enthusiasts. In this way, guests can choose different areas within the same venue. The schedule also includes happy hour ahead of the shows.
