Special surf heat at Praia do Futuro unites Brazilian sports idols during Tamo Junto BB Festival, with full schedule of competitions and concerts.
Sports stars share waves in Fortaleza
On Friday (12/12), Praia do Futuro, in Fortaleza, hosted a rare meeting of Brazilian sports idols. In a festive and inclusive atmosphere, the Tamo Junto BB 2025 Festival promoted two special heats with athletes from the Squad BB. Thus, surfing, skateboarding, e-sports, canoeing and entertainment names shared the same lineup.
The action celebrated unity between different disciplines and served as a symbolic warm-up for the decisive weekend of the WSL Qualifying Series. The event marks the final stage of the Banco do Brasil Surf Circuit. In addition, it reinforces Fortaleza’s status as a key stage for major national sports events.
First heat mixes generations and disciplines
The first heat brought together Filipe Toledo (surfing), Felipe Gustavo (skateboarding), Pulgaboy (e-sports) and Tainá Hinckel (surfing). It also featured Gabriel Assunção (canoeing), Felipe Araújo, Léo Scott, Giovanni Vianna, Marina Gabriela, Filipe Mota, Rony Gomes and Zanardi, all from skateboarding, plus actor Paulo Vilhena.
The lineup mixed world champions, Olympic medalists, rising talents and personalities passionate about sports. In this way, the special heat highlighted the festival’s inclusive profile. Spectators watched close interaction between different generations and disciplines in the water.
Second heat and the role of Squad BB
In the second heat, the energy remained high with Ítalo Ferreira, Luana Silva and Inácio representing surfing. On the skate side, Augusto Akio, Davinson Fortunato, Daniela Vitória and Felipe Nunes joined the session. Canoe sprint star Isaquias Queiroz, an Olympic medalist, completed the multisport group.
The lineup also featured gamers Antlari, Nobru and Amoroso, along with influencer Max Vitorino. In this context, the Squad BB strengthens its role as a bridge between disciplines. The project encourages exchanges, connects top Brazilian athletes and helps build a stronger sports community in and out of the water.
Ítalo Ferreira mentors newcomers in the water
Surfer Ítalo Ferreira acted as mentor for the participants who do not usually surf. He highlighted the experience of guiding athletes from other sports into the waves. According to him, the focus was on fun and shared learning on the Ceará coast.
“Some athletes were asking for tips, but it’s tough at the last minute (laughs). Still, it’s fun to be with everyone and teach the sport.”
The heats are part of the official program of the Tamo Junto BB 2025 Festival, which takes over Fortaleza throughout the week. Besides the surf activities, the event also hosts skateboarding, beach volleyball, road running and gaming competitions. Thus, the city consolidates itself as one of Brazil’s most vibrant sports and cultural hubs during these days.
Concert lineup highlights multicultural vibe
After the competitions, crowds head to Marina Park for the official TMJ BB concert lineup. On Friday (12/12), the stage welcomes BaianaSystem, L7nnon, Nação Zumbi, Os Garotin with Melly, 2ZDinizz and Mateus Fazeno Rock. In this way, the festival blends sport, music and culture in a single program.
On Saturday (13/12), performances include João Gomes, Rachel Reis, Jota.pê, Tali, Os Transacionais and the carnival bloco Pra Quem Gosta é Bom. Finally, on Sunday (14/12), Grupo Revelação and Gabi no Quintal close the festival in a party atmosphere. The lineup reinforces the event’s multicultural and plural character.
