Shopping Leblon offers Christmas Parades, Market, kids’ activities and extended December hours for a festive shopping experience.
Christmas-themed weekend
Shopping Leblon, in Rio de Janeiro, is preparing a charming Christmas weekend on 13 and 14 December. The programme features Christmas Parades, meet-and-greet with Santa Claus, a Christmas Market and free children’s activities. In addition, the mall operates with extended hours in December to make holiday shopping more convenient.
On Sunday, 14 December, the mall’s corridors will be taken over by the traditional Christmas Parades. The musical processions bring Afrânio, Helena and their helpers in performances at 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.. These moments help enhance the festive atmosphere and delight visitors of all ages.
Santa Claus and kids’ activities
Every day, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., visitors can meet Santa Claus on the first floor, in a specially designed photo area. Families are invited to enjoy and record memorable Christmas moments. Thus, the Santa experience becomes one of the highlights of the schedule.
Children can also take part in free activities, such as colouring drawings and writing letters to Santa. A monitor accompanies the activities, encouraging creativity and the Christmas spirit. In this way, the mall offers a playful and welcoming environment for younger visitors.
Christmas Market on Floor Zero
Until 24 December, Shopping Leblon hosts a new edition of its Christmas Market on Floor Zero, open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.. The space brings together a curated selection of artisan, independent and authorial brands. It also offers special gift options, flavours and creative pieces for a Christmas with charm and purpose.
Participating brands include Care Natural Beauty, Si Poesia Engarrafada, Briek, Pâtés Valerie, Woods Wine, FB Cards, AC Store, Pippa Patisserie and Danni Enne Cerâmicas. The Christmas Market was designed to provide a cosy experience, in which each brand presents stories, aesthetics and products aligned with the festive spirit.
Extended December opening hours
To support last-minute Christmas shopping, Shopping Leblon opens at 9 a.m. between 12 and 23 December. During this period, stores operate from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., while the food court opens from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.. This schedule offers more flexibility for customers.
On 24 and 31 December, opening hours are adjusted. On Christmas Eve (24/12), stores run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and food from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.. On New Year’s Eve (31/12), both stores and food areas operate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On 25 December and 1 January, only the food area will be open, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Between 26 and 30 December, the mall resumes its regular opening hours. Therefore, visitors can plan their shopping and leisure visits throughout the entire festive season.
