    Low Fire Smokehouse launches a Christmas dish in collaboration with chef André Chicata, blending Texas BBQ and festive flavors.

    Low Fire Smokehouse, a Rio-based reference in Texas-style smoking, presents its special Christmas dish in partnership with chef André Chicata, who has spent six years dedicated to American BBQ and is recognized for creating the best burger in Rio de Janeiro. The launch takes place at the venue’s downtown location starting December 4.

    A contemporary take on Christmas flavors

    For the festive menu, Chicata delivers an authorial and modern interpretation of classic holiday elements, placing pork leg at the center of the composition, a traditional ingredient in Brazilian Christmas celebrations.

    “Christmas is a time of cherished memories, and our idea was to bring these traditional flavors into the language of our brand,” says Moux, partner of the restaurant. “The collaboration with Chicata was born from the desire to create something special, different, yet true to what we do”.

    Special dish details

    The main course features a slowly smoked pork leg steak over fruitwood, finished with sweet and sour cranberry glaze, accompanied by pulled pork leg, rustic sweet potato with bacon jam, guacamole, and lightly smoked okra popcorn breaded in panko, served with a spicy BBQ-inspired sauce (R$ 78.90).

    The experience can be completed with a farmhouse cake topped with house-made syrup, crunchy almonds and vanilla ice cream (R$ 19.90). The full combo of main dish and dessert is offered for R$ 98.90.

    Atmosphere and launch date

    “The idea was to create a Christmas meal shaped by fire, technique and texture, something with the soul of barbecue and the spirit of the holidays,” explains Chicata. “It is a dish that tells a story of flavors, layers and time”.

    The launch takes place on December 4, when the venue hosts musician Eduardo Camacho, performing live country music during lunch, reinforcing the restaurant’s Texan-inspired atmosphere. The dish remains available throughout the month.
