H&M Studio Essentials 26 and H&M Studio 26 arrive in February and March, featuring tailoring, leather, knitwear and an expressive approach.

Studio Essentials 26 returns with elevated basics

H&M Studio Essentials returns for Season 26 with reworked wardrobe classics. In this way, the brand frames staples through a non-traditional lens. The collection centers on architectural tailoring, statement leather and knitwear with unexpected details.

Boxy cropped shirts and refined versions of the “perfect T-shirt” also feature. In addition, the line reinforces elevated foundations designed to last. Studio Essentials 26 lands in selected stores and on hm.com.br on February 05.

    90s minimalism with sporty lightness

The in-house design team behind H&M Studio also created the seasonal Essentials edit. Next, the collection blends 90s minimalism with subtle sporty references. Proportions take the lead while gently subverting design conventions.

Key pieces include a double-breasted wool blazer with wide sleeves and stitched creases. Moreover, exposed-edge finishes add structure. A shrunken cashmere cardigan follows, with a double button placket and an added shoulder layer.

A piqué-inspired top appears in sheer silk with a long row of mother-of-pearl buttons. Meanwhile, a sheer pointelle knit top-and-skirt set plays with ruffled hems and rolled finishes. Lightness shows through crisp cottons, washed canvas and silk jerseys.

The palette features white with soft touches of faded yellow and pale pink. In this way, the tones blend into a sophisticated greige range. The brand highlights easy pairing with Studio main collections and existing wardrobes.

“With Studio Essentials, everything is designed to be easily mixed — whether with Studio’s main collections or with pieces already in the wardrobe — and produced with quality materials.”

Shena Nordéus of H&M says the line values timeless design while keeping Studio’s creative signature. Therefore, the proposal stays minimalist, cool and highly versatile. Studio Essentials focuses on elevated basics such as leather jackets, tailoring and knitwear.

H&M Studio 26 leans into eccentric attitude

H&M Studio 26 embraces eccentricity in both attitude and expression. As a result, it moves deliberately off the traditional axis and explores asymmetry and unexpected proportions. Cut-outs and color play reinforce the self-expression theme.

The pieces are guided by smart nonconformists who are creative and unapologetically authentic. In addition, the brand frames the collection as a tribute to individuality and confidence. H&M Studio 26 arrives at H&M Brazil in Shopping Iguatemi and on hm.com.br on March 5.

    Tailoring anchors reinvention

The collection balances softness and strength, tradition and rebellion. However, it keeps returning to interpretation and reinvention. Silhouettes invite experimentation so each person can make the pieces their own.

Tailoring leads with a classic brown checked coat featuring an elongated neckline that nods to robe-like comfort. Next, a sharp black blazer appears with a high back slit. Curved inner armholes and raw-finish lining show at the sleeves.

Wide-leg black trousers can be folded at the waistband backward, forward or left unfolded. In this way, the shape becomes sculptural through styling. The line also includes a jacket-and-jeans set in painted denim with expressive brushstrokes.

Other highlights include an off-shoulder short-sleeve black lace dress with a waist tie. In addition, elongated lace strips extend the silhouette. A brown checked zip-front dress brings zig-zag stitching, voluminous shoulders and an unfinished hem.

A structured black utility jacket features front darts and a cinched waist. Meanwhile, the back stays loose and comfortable. Materials include wool, leather, cotton and alpaca and mohair blends.

    Color accents and playful accessories

The color story combines classic black, brown, grey and white. In addition, unexpected accents appear in burgundy, cotton-candy pink, pistachio green and soft citrus yellow. Light turquoise adds another contrast note.

Surreal florals portray blurred flowers or oversized chrysanthemums. In this way, prints add impact while keeping versatility. Accessories come in playful proportions and bold shapes.

Highlighted pieces include a burgundy leather pillow-shaped bag and a burgundy heel with draped fabric. Moreover, the front takes on a diamond-like shape. Statement jewelry features fun florals with a brushed vintage finish.

“H&M Studio 26’s eccentric muse lives in contrast — soft and bold, playful and precise. She dresses for the joy of becoming who she is.”

Creative consultant and womenswear head of design Ann-Sofie Johansson says the collection moves between tailoring and denim. Therefore, it blends delicate dresses with comfortable loungewear-inspired pieces. The idea is to shift with the moment and destination.
