Alchymist Blue Lagoon, at Lagoa do Paraíso, is investing in a new water park and immersive experiences, opening a new phase in Jericoacoara with a show by Alok.
New phase cements Blue Lagoon as a key attraction in Ceará
Located on the shores of Lagoa do Paraíso in Jijoca de Jericoacoara, Alchymist Blue Lagoon has established itself as one of Ceará’s top tourist attractions. The complex is now moving into a new expansion stage driven by major investments.
The official opening of this phase is scheduled for 29 December, with a live performance by DJ Alok. The event strengthens the venue’s position in the state’s tourism calendar and marks a new chapter for the project.
Water park and immersive video mapping
The next step of the project includes building a water park, expanding leisure options for different audiences. The complex will also feature immersive experiences with video mapping, integrated into the daytime and nighttime programme.
All activations will comply with the environmental rules of the Permanent Preservation Area (APA). In this way, Blue Lagoon aims to combine innovation, entertainment and respect for the surrounding landscape.
The venue already stands out for scenic structures that blend into the setting, such as the full-scale replica of Pedra Furada, today one of Jericoacoara’s most photographed spots.
“It’s something Jeri has never seen before”
According to Cléa Girão, Commercial and Marketing Director at Alchymist Group, the new phase represents a turning point for tourism in the region. She underscores how the project will introduce an unprecedented attraction to Jericoacoara.
“Blue Lagoon already has a full-scale replica of Pedra Furada. With the arrival of the next phase of the project, we will see a significant change in Jericoacoara’s landscape. It is something Jeri never had,” says Cléa Girão.
She also highlights the role of technology in speeding up construction and installation. Advances allow the team to deliver the new structures quickly and with high standards.
“Technology is on our side. What used to take two years can now be completed in about three months. Everything is pre-moulded, which allows us to assemble structures quickly, with solid engineering and premium quality,” she notes.
Multi-million investments and local impact
Investments are progressing at a strong pace. The pool structure at Alchymist Blue Lagoon alone has already received more than R$ 40 million in funding.
Future stages, including the water park and immersive experiences, are expected to receive an additional R$ 25 million to R$ 30 million. These resources underscore the project’s strategic role in local tourism.
The development already generates more than 5,200 jobs, directly impacting Jericoacoara’s economy. As a result, Blue Lagoon has become a major driver of regional growth on Ceará’s coast.
Jericoacoara’s growing prominence in Brazilian tourism
With the official opening on 29 December, headlined by Alok, and the upcoming project phase, Alchymist Blue Lagoon further boosts Jericoacoara’s status as one of Brazil’s top destinations.
The complex blends leisure, innovation and high-impact experiences in the Northeast, combining cutting-edge entertainment with natural scenery. In doing so, Jeri strengthens its image as a destination that unites nature and world-class tourism infrastructure.
