International activist Menkay shares ethics and vegan journey at VegFest Brasil, December 4, with a keynote on animal activism and personal transformation.
Animal activism and lived experience
The Brazilian Vegetarian Society (SVB) and Francal Feiras have confirmed European activist Menkay for the 12th VegFest Brasil. The event runs December 4–7, with Menkay presenting in-person on the opening day at 6:40 p.m.
Menkay’s journey stands out: once a dairy farmer, he brings a critical perspective on the animal industry and the impact of milk production. Now acclaimed for animal rights advocacy and vegan outreach, he uses creative communication designed to educate and inspire empathy through emotional connection.
Keynote and debate at Vegan Congress
At VegFest Brasil 2025, Menkay will offer reflections on animal activism and his path from dairy producer to vegan advocate. His talk is part of the “12th Brazilian Vegan Congress” held alongside the IV International Animal Rights Congress (CEAA).
Known for creative, heartfelt speaking, Menkay engages audiences with strategies to spark empathy and deepen ethical and environmental debate. Attendees can explore his transformation and learn new forms of activism rooted in powerful life experience.
Free fair and immersive events
Alongside the congress, VegFest offers a public fair with over 100 exhibitors showcasing vegan, sustainable and ethical products. Visitors can enjoy culinary demos, tastings, sports arena, yoga and meditation classes, and more — all for a deep dive into the vegan lifestyle.
