Art déco icon in Copacabana blends fine dining, immersive tech and Brazilian musical “Aquele Abraço” in a full sensory night experience.

    Cultural landmark in Rio

The Roxy Dinner Show, housed in the historic 1938 Art déco Cine Roxy in Copacabana, has become one of Rio’s leading entertainment attractions. Fully restored, the venue combines fine dining, immersive technology and a large-scale show, setting a new standard for the city’s nightlife .

Recognized as a new cultural and tourist hotspot, the Roxy offers a complete evening program with welcome drink, three-course dinner and live music. In 2025, it was selected by Time magazine as one of the *World’s Greatest Places*, underscoring its international appeal .

“Aquele Abraço”: a tribute to Brazil

On stage, the resident musical “Aquele Abraço” celebrates Brazil’s identity and diversity. The show takes the audience on a journey through the country’s five regions, blending samba, frevo, bossa nova, funk, popular culture and contemporary urban art.

With 60 performers on stage and more than 350 exclusive costumes, the production features a soundtrack of over 50 iconic songs. The result is a vibrant spectacle of rhythm, color and emotion that appeals to all generations.

    Immersive technology and creative direction

Directed by Abel Gomes, with musical direction by Pretinho da Serrinha and stage and choreography direction by Priscilla Mota and Rodrigo Negri, the show combines high-impact stage design and storytelling. A 180-degree 4D LED panel and sophisticated lighting design immerse the audience in a multi-sensory environment .

More than a performance, the Roxy positions itself as a cultural postcard of Rio, where Brazil sings, dances and enchants night after night. The experience merges narrative, gastronomy and technology into a powerful love letter to the country .

    Dining experience and packages

Guests can choose between different packages that include a three-course dinner, expanded menus, welcome drink, nuts selection and a themed pre-show “Aquele Abraço” before the main performance . This structure turns the evening into a full-night program from arrival to curtain call.

The venue’s concept is to celebrate Brazilian culture from table to stage, offering a refined, immersive and family-friendly program in the heart of Copacabana. The combination of historic architecture and cutting-edge tech makes it a must-see attraction for visitors and locals .
