Baile da Vogue 2026 takes place Feb. 7 at Copacabana Palace with six themed ballrooms and a soundtrack led by Pretinho da Serrinha.
Baile da Vogue 2026 will celebrate the festival that embraces it:
Carnival itself. Under the theme
“Carnavália: o abre-alas fashionista da folia”, the event invites guests to honor what it calls the greatest show on Earth. In addition, the ball is scheduled for February 7 at
Copacabana Palace. The night is presented as a visual and sonic journey through multiple Carnival atmospheres. The hotel will host 1,600 guests across six ballrooms, each with its own set design. In this way, the event aims to narrate Carnival’s story through immersive environments.
Six rooms, six Carnival moods
With creative direction by
Wado Gonçalves and
Diego Ognibeni, the experience moves through the hotel with changing palettes and settings. Production is led, for the 11th time, by
BFerraz, an agency within B&Partners. Thus, scenography remains a defining pillar of the ball. The
Varanda references Carnivals of the past, inspired by marchinhas. The
Salão Nobre pays tribute to frevo with an installation of hand-embroidered umbrellas. Next, the
Salão Golden revisits Rio’s 1990s ballroom parties. The
Gallery delivers a luxury reading of Carnival. The
Crystal ballroom, which houses the stage, draws its palette from Brazilian flora and fauna. In addition, LED panels in every room will display digital content based on exclusive illustrations by artist
Paula Plim.
Music direction and samba legacy
In 2026, samba marks 100 years of consolidation as a musical genre. For that reason, the soundtrack will be led by
Pretinho da Serrinha, featuring
Xande de Pilares. In addition, two guest DJs will be announced later. The samba school
Acadêmicos do Grande Rio will again take part in the event. In this manner, the ball maintains a strong link to samba culture. However, the overall concept also widens references to build different atmospheres throughout the night.
