Rock in Rio and Kinoplex add extra Stray Kids screenings in Brazil

  After selling out, concert film “Stray Kids: The DominATE Experience” gets special screenings on Feb. 5 in Rio and São Paulo.

 

  Rock in Rio and Kinoplex announced two new special screenings of “Stray Kids: The DominATE Experience” in Brazil. The move comes after all sessions of the concert film sold out. In addition, the new screenings take place on February 5 in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

 

  In Rio, the screening will be held at Kinoplex Via Parque at 8 p.m. in theater 1. In São Paulo, it will take place at Kinoplex Vila Olímpia at 8:20 p.m. in theater 2. As a result, fans get another chance to watch the group’s latest world tour on the big screen.

   

Fan experience and surprises

 

  According to the organizers, the sessions will include surprises prepared by Rock in Rio. The initiative aims to warm up audiences for the live experience coming in September. In this way, the film works as a preview of what fans will see at Cidade do Rock.

 

  Stray Kids is set to headline the Palco Mundo on September 11. In addition, the festival says the group will become the first K-pop act to perform at Cidade do Rock. Therefore, the show is positioned as a milestone in the festival’s history.

   

What the concert film includes

 

  “Stray Kids: The DominATE Experience” documents the group’s most recent world tour. The film includes footage captured at shows at SoFi Stadium in the United States. Next, it adds backstage moments and exclusive interviews with the members.

 

  The project is directed by Paul Dugdale and Farah X. According to the release, both directors have also worked on documentaries for artists such as Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. As a result, the production underscores the global scale of the phenomenon.

   

Rock in Rio 2026 and new features

 

  Rock in Rio 2026 is scheduled for Cidade do Rock at Rio’s Olympic Park on September 4, 5, 6, 7 and 11, 12, 13. The organization has announced names such as Elton John, Stray Kids, Maroon 5, Demi Lovato, Gilberto Gil, Jamiroquai, Mumford & Sons, and João Gomes and Orquestra Brasileira. In addition, the festival promises structural changes and special attractions.

 

  According to the organizers, the Palco Mundo will feature an all-new set design. Its front structure will be covered by 2,400 m² of high-definition LED panels. Meanwhile, the aerial show The Flight returns with synchronized aerobatics and 756 daytime fireworks shots.

 

  The festival said it will soon announce the period for fans to choose their preferred day without the risk of sellouts. It also stated there will be another chance for those who missed out through an official sale scheduled for 2026. Finally, dates have not yet been disclosed.
