Alma Rio announces a six-day Sapucaí run with skip-the-line access, premium open bar, high-end dining, and a lineup mixing Brazilian acts and global electronic names.

Alma Rio Camarote has confirmed its second edition at Marquês de Sapucaí. The space promises six days of Carnival focused on comfort and exclusivity. In addition, the project highlights skip-the-line access to all areas and services.

According to the organizers, the concept blends music, design, and user experience. Across the parades of 27 samba schools, the venue expects more than 60 hours of programming. This way, it targets guests seeking a premium Carnival experience on the avenue.

    Structure, partnership, and dining

In partnership with Johnnie Walker Gold, part of Diageo, the camarote will feature three floors. The venue totals 2,500 \(m^2\) and includes an outdoor lounge with parade views. In addition, it offers a premium open bar and high-end dining.

Food service will be led by Capim Santo, with a buffet created by chef Morena Leite. This edition adds new elements, including a panetteria. Thus, the operation reinforces its hospitality and comfort positioning.

    Leadership and positioning

The leadership team includes Alessandra Pirotelli, Pedro Caldas, Marcelo Fonseca, and Grupo Live, represented by Guga Pereira and Wilson Anastácio. Pirotelli brings more than 26 years of Carnival production experience. Therefore, the group says it combines expertise with strategic vision.

“In 2026, Alma Rio deepens and consolidates its positioning as the ‘quiet luxury’ space at Sapucaí, bringing an even more refined artistic direction aligned with an audience that values context and cultural identity,” Alessandra Pirotelli says.

    Two music territories and lineup

The main update is the project’s music architecture. Programming will operate across two defined and complementary territories. On one side, Electronic Club highlights contemporary electronic music.

On the other side, Brazilian Soul celebrates Brazilian music. This way, the camarote aims to balance global references with local identity. The plan also includes special pairings, B2Bs, and exclusive sets.

Confirmed Brazilian acts include Pretinho da Serrinha, Gilsons, Mart’nália, and Marcelo D2, plus a special guest. Global names listed include Maxa, WhoMadeWho, Jamie Jones, Black Coffee, Miguelle & Tons, and Ahmed Spins. The lineup also features Bhaskar, Bob Moses, Malive, Dennis Cruz, Niv Yefet, Carlita, and Unfazed, among others.

“Thanks to the careful international and national curation we are building, we will also announce exclusive international labels and events in the camarote, with the presence of the biggest electronic music DJs,” says partner and artistic curator Pedro Caldas.

Grupo Live says additional national and international acts will be announced soon. Therefore, the project keeps its promise of an up-to-date and immersive program. Finally, the curation aims for a sophisticated and contemporary atmosphere without excess.

    Comfort, spa, and meeting point

Alma Rio says the venue was designed to maximize guest comfort. The camarote will include a spa, a rest area, and restrooms stocked with premium products. In addition, guests will have access to a meeting point at Jockey Club in Jardim Botânico.

At the meeting point, guests can customize T-shirts and use an exclusive concierge. The space will also offer drinks, rest areas, and premium transportation directly to Sapucaí. This way, the project reinforces the idea of an integrated guest journey.
