Saulo Fernandes drops the final part of “Bênção” today, Jan. 22, via ONErpm, led by the title track with an unreleased collaboration with Anitta.

Brazilian singer Saulo Fernandes released this Thursday, Jan. 22, the second and final part of “Bênção”. The project is available on all digital platforms via ONErpm. The record is Saulo’s ninth album.

The title track “Bênção” was written by Saulo alongside Magary Lord. In addition, the song features an unreleased collaboration with Anitta. The duet anchors the final chapter of the album.

    Anitta collaboration

“I sent a simple video singing, inviting her to help amplify the song. She replied saying she loved it and wanted to add her voice. A straight, musical conversation. And it turned out very beautiful. I hope people are moved by this song.”

The first part of “Bênção” was released in 2025. It included five tracks, such as “Pipoca, Povo, Presente”. This way, the new release completes the album’s tracklist.

The second part adds “Mãezinha”, “Manhã de Sol”, “Não Demore Não”, “Odibaobaba” and “Bendito Seja”. The songs credit Saulo and collaborators across the compositions. As a result, the album expands his set of original tracks.

    Production and concept

“‘Bênção’ is my ninth solo album. An Axé Music album with new songs we truly cherish. Produced by Adriano Gaiarsa, with collective arrangements by Adriano Gaiarsa, Alcione Rocha and Ronaldo Cavalcante, with me and the band. Mixed and mastered by Marcelus Leone. A home album, from our hearts to the hearts of those who listen. An album about FAITH in everything good that surrounds and blesses us, and FAITH in Bahia’s music.”

The album was produced by Adriano Gaiarsa. Arrangements were developed collectively by Gaiarsa, Alcione Rocha and Ronaldo Cavalcante, alongside Saulo and his band. Next, Marcelus Leone handled mixing and mastering.

“Bênção” is now available across streaming platforms. Therefore, the two-part rollout comes to an end with this release. The material reinforces Saulo’s connection to Axé Music and Bahia’s sound.

    Saulo Fernandes background

Saulo Fernandes was born on Sept. 9, 1977, in Barreiras, Bahia. Influenced by his maternal family, he started in music as a child. At 14, he recorded his first LP.

Later, he led the band Mukeka and gained Carnival visibility with Banda Chica Fé. In 2002, he became the lead singer of Banda Eva, releasing six CDs and three DVDs. In this way, he built a strong profile in Brazilian pop and Carnival circuits.

In 2013, he launched his solo career. By 2026, he has released nine albums and developed projects such as Saulo Som e Sol and Pipoca de Saulo. Finally, these formats became standout events in Bahia’s music scene.
