    Black Princess unveils Rio Open 2026 can

     Black Princess returns as Rio Open 2026’s official beer and releases a special Black Princess Gold can for the Feb. 14–22 tournament.

     

     Black Princess, the premium brand from Grupo Petrópolis, returns as the official beer of the Rio Open for the fourth straight year. The tournament runs from Feb. 14 to 22. The event takes place at Jockey Club Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro.

     

     For the 2026 edition, the brand is releasing a special can of Black Princess Gold (all-malt). The product is already available in major retail outlets. Distribution includes São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais.

      

    Citywide activations and live coverage

     

     In addition, former players and tennis commentators Felipe Meligeni and Teliana Pereira will provide live coverage on the brand’s social channels. This way, fans can follow updates throughout the tournament. The content will track matches and key moments.

     

     With the tagline “dare to change the game”, Black Princess reinforces a classic yet authentic identity. However, the brand also highlights the tournament’s premium appeal. As a result, activations extend beyond the clay courts into the city.

     

     Next, the campaign includes promotions at convenience stores and branded setups in supermarket chains. The brand will also run tastings that feature other labels in its portfolio. In this way, the initiative reaches audiences across Rio de Janeiro.

      

    Statement and on-site offerings

The tournament represents the union of tradition and attitude, values that reflect the essence of our brand. We want the public to experience this alongside a sophisticated brand that delivers quality worthy of such an exclusive event.”

     

     Beyond the commemorative cans, Black Princess Gold draft beer will be served across all event areas. Meanwhile, Black Princess Let’s Hop (IPA) draft will be available at the Corcovado Club. The lineup expands choices for spectators during match days.

     

     Those who do not drink beer will have other options. Therefore, TNT sports and energy drinks from Grupo Petrópolis will be stocked in coolers. The locations listed are Praça Rio Open, Leblon Boulevard and Corcovado Club.

     

     Finally, the brand highlights Black Princess Gold for its balanced profile. It points to a pronounced aroma and full-bodied flavor. In doing so, it positions the label as a match for Rio Open 2026’s premium setting.
