Rio Praia opens sales for Carnival 2026 at Sambadrome, offering concerts, nightly samba circles and full services in a prime spot between sectors 8 and 10.
Camarote Rio Praia has opened ticket sales for Carnival 2026. The venue sits at Marquês de Sapucaí between sectors 8 and 10. As a result, it offers a prime view facing the second bateria break.
The 2026 edition promises full infrastructure with concerts and DJs. In addition, the main new feature is nightly samba circles throughout the event. The concept aims to expand the experience beyond watching the parades.
“Reaching our eighth year with Camarote Rio Praia is an achievement that fills us with pride. For 2026, we want to surprise the public even more, with modern infrastructure, a selected line-up, and a unique experience for those watching the parades at Sapucaí,” said Alan Victor, promoter of Camarote Rio Praia.
Infrastructure and services
Rio Praia says it offers a lounge, a main area, a premium area, and a VIP area. It also highlights air-conditioned spaces and private restrooms. In this way, the operation focuses on comfort and exclusivity.
The box includes a premium open bar and open food with a buffet. In addition, it offers exclusive transfer service for arrival and return. The venue also lists beauty stations for makeup and hair.
Rio Praia features a customization area for the official shirt and selected items. On the other hand, a private lounge targets corporate experiences and groups starting at 16 people. The lounge can host more than 50 guests with dedicated waiter service and exclusive transfers.
The meeting point will be at Pestana Rio Atlântica in Copacabana. Therefore, the venue aims to streamline access to Sapucaí. The box also mentions views toward two judges’ booths in sectors 9 and 10.
Line-up for 2026
Rio Praia will run six days of programming. The production estimates 60 hours of entertainment. In addition, the line-up brings major samba and pagode names.
Xande de Pilares opens on 02/13. Thiago Martins performs on 02/14. On 02/15, the stage hosts Arlindinho and Thiago Soares.
On Monday, 02/16, Pixote headlines. On Tuesday, 02/17, Tiee takes the stage. Finally, on the Champions’ Parade night, 02/21, the closing show features Belo.
Nightly samba circles project
The box introduces an original Samba Circles project for Carnival 2026. The plan covers six nights with invited rodas. As a result, Rio Praia says it will spotlight traditions, singers, and instrumentalists.
The curators are musicians Nanda Monteiro and Rodolfo Marques, partners at Grupo Confraria Carioca. In addition, the program is designed to connect musicians, audiences, and influencers. The goal is to bring distinct identities to the Sambadrome.
On Friday, 02/13, Quintal da Lapa invites Grupo Confraria Carioca. On Saturday, 02/14, Quadra do Cardosão hosts Samba da Alvorada. On Sunday, 02/15, Samba dos Guimarães leads alongside Grupo Confraria Carioca.
On Monday, 02/16, Samba do JB invites Casa de Marimbondo. On Tuesday, 02/17, Samba Redentor invites Grupo Confraria Carioca. Finally, on 02/21, Base do Samba invites S.E.R. – Samba Enredo de Raiz.
The final night also lists official carnival lead singers. The names include Pit de Menezes, Dowglas Diniz, Evandro Malandro, Emerson Dias, and Igor Sorriso. In this way, the closing aims to bring together voices linked to major samba schools.
Tickets and prices
Tickets are available for Carnival nights and for the Champions’ Parade. For Friday, 02/13, the listed price is R$ 1,690.00. For Saturday, 02/14, the ticket is priced at R$ 1,990.00.
For Sunday, 02/15, the listed price is R$ 3,490.00. For Monday, 02/16, and Tuesday, 02/17, each day is priced at R$ 3,100.00. Finally, for Saturday, 02/21, the Champions’ Parade night is listed at R$ 3,490.00.
