Rio-born label Zsolt opens its first São Paulo store in Jardins, highlighting slow fashion and handcrafted pieces made in Rio de Janeiro.
Rio de Janeiro-based fashion label Zsolt, founded in 2012 by siblings Bruno and Thatiana Schott, has opened its first store in São Paulo. The new address is in Jardins, and the brand is inviting fashion producers and journalists to experience this new phase.
Known for its slow fashion approach, Zsolt built its identity around timeless cuts and local production. In addition, the brand uses artisanal processes and prioritizes natural fabrics such as cotton and linen.
According to the company, these materials provide lightness, breathability and comfort, aligning with Brazil’s summer. In this way, the collections aim to balance aesthetics and everyday wearability.
Handmade processes and local production
The pieces are produced entirely in Rio de Janeiro, in small-scale runs. Next, the work features handcrafted printing techniques and a close eye for shape, texture and movement.
The prints are made by hand and evoke landscapes, such as wind marks on sand and the motion of ocean waves. As a result, the brand reinforces an authorial visual language tied to its Rio roots.
Zsolt also points to the collections’ strong visual potential for still-life shoots and editorials with models. In addition, the graphic strength of the prints and the fabrics’ fluidity support fashion storytelling.
Expansion into São Paulo
The move into São Paulo marks the brand’s expansion into a new setting. However, Zsolt says it preserves its Rio essence while connecting it to the city’s contemporary, urban lifestyle.
For the company, the store stands for more than a new physical point of sale. Therefore, the space represents a meeting of rhythms, ways of living and ways of dressing.
The label describes its proposal as conscious, affective and aesthetic fashion that respects time, processes and people. Finally, the new location becomes its main in-person contact point in São Paulo.
