Rock 80 Festival kicks off Rio summer on January 10-11 at Flamengo Landfill with 80s covers, free program and nostalgic vibe.
Saturday January 10
2pm: DJ opens. 3pm: Cão Noturno plays originals. 4:30pm: Banda Piazzas revives Lulu Santos and Legião Urbana.
6:30pm: The Red Pilot delivers Queen and Kiss. Meanwhile, 8:30pm: Bloco 8 e 80 fuses percussion and Rio summer. Thus, it honors 80s classics.
Sunday January 11
2pm: DJ starts. 2:30pm: Nside Band blends Metallica and Pitty. 4:30pm: Banda The Lux brings U2 and Barão Vermelho.
6:30pm: RHCP Tribute by Snow salutes Red Hot Chili Peppers. Next, 8:30pm: A Conexão 80 closes with Guns N’ Roses.
