Isabella Fiorentino supports Surfe Caiçara project

Model Isabella Fiorentino becomes patron of Surfe Caiçara, a surf project for social inclusion of vulnerable children in Guarujá.

Sport as a tool for inclusion

The Alimentando o Bem Institute announced model and TV host Isabella Fiorentino as patron of the Surfe Caiçara Project. The initiative uses sport as a tool for social transformation in the Perequê neighborhood, in Guarujá. Currently, the project serves 60 vulnerable children.

The surf lessons promote physical development, emotional strength and connection with nature. In addition, the project aims to broaden the horizons of participating children and inspire new life paths. Thus, sport becomes a strong ally in promoting citizenship.

Well-being and shared values

A surf practitioner for some years, Isabella Fiorentino has a close relationship with the sport. Surfing is part of her well-being routine and reflects the values of the project. This way, her role as patron gains even more coherence and relevance.

Activities take place during after-school hours and include sea safety, body strengthening and surf techniques. Furthermore, the project promotes environmental awareness actions with the children. Surfe Caiçara represents discipline, self-confidence and opportunity for the young participants.

Discipline, balance and opportunity

“I have always believed in the power of sport as a tool for inclusion and citizenship. I discovered surfing a few years ago and since then it has become an important part of my life. Being in the sea has brought me discipline, balance and self-confidence — values I want to see reflected in these children. It is an honor to be the patron of this initiative and help these young people have more opportunities to dream and achieve.”

The Surfe Caiçara Project has the support of L’été, which provides beachwear for all participating children. In addition, the initiative is part of the Alimentando o Bem Institute, created in 2020. The organization works in territorial development, productive inclusion, after-school activities, social housing and environmental regeneration.
