French labels like Whispering Angel and Minuty Prestige add sophistication, charm, and freshness to holiday gatherings.
Elegance and celebration in every glass
As the year draws to a close, the renowned Rosés of Provence stand out for their freshness, elegance, and festive spirit. With a tradition that spans over 2,600 years, the region produces wines known for their delicate character and balance, perfect for both intimate dinners and joyful celebrations.
Among its most famous expressions is the Whispering Angel, produced by Château d’Esclans. Crafted from Grenache, Cinsault, and Rolle, the wine offers aromas of fresh red fruits and florals, with a smooth, vibrant palate. It pairs beautifully with grilled fish, burrata, fresh cheeses, and roasted vegetables.
The “Rosé Renaissance” legacy
Located near Saint-Tropez, Château d’Esclans became a global reference after Sacha Lichine acquired it in 2006, launching the “Rosé Renaissance.” Alongside winemaker Patrick Léon, Lichine elevated rosé wines to a symbol of luxury and refinement. Since 2019, the property has been part of Moët Hennessy, the wine and spirits division of the LVMH Group.
Minuty: heritage and innovation
The Minuty Prestige Rosé, from the legendary Château Minuty, blends craftsmanship and heritage. Founded in 1936 and led by the fourth generation of the Matton-Farnet family, the estate crafts wines with expressive notes of apricot, peach, and citrus, perfect for seafood dishes, ceviche, and pasta.
Recognized as one of Provence’s “23 Crus Classés” since 1955, the winery is present in over 100 countries and holds a High Environmental Value (HVE) certification. In 2023, LVMH acquired a majority stake, expanding its global reach while preserving tradition and quality.
Provence in every toast
Whether at a family gathering or a sophisticated dinner, the Rosés of Provence embody the art of celebration. With their freshness, elegance, and finesse, they bring a touch of French charm to every festive table, turning each toast into a memorable experience.
