Track&Field opens Experience Store with TFC at Rio Sul

Track&Field opens expanded Experience Store in Rio Sul mall, with TFC Food & Market and focus on Christmas shopping and wellness.

New expanded store in Rio’s South Zone

Track&Field has inaugurated its new Experience Store at Shopping Rio Sul, in Rio de Janeiro’s South Zone. The unit houses the city’s second TFC Food & Market operation, combining store, café and minimarket in one place. The opening takes place strategically just before Christmas, the most important period for retail.

The space underwent a change of location inside the mall, full renovation and expansion. Previously 75 m², the store now has 176.13 m², with a modern layout aligned to the Experience Store concept. In this way, the brand strengthens its footprint and growth strategy in the city.

Experience Store concept and wellness

The Experience Store model goes beyond traditional retail by integrating products, services and community engagement. The environment was designed to embody Track&Field’s active and healthy lifestyle. A welcoming atmosphere and fluid layout help customers connect with their favorite lifestyle.

The goal is to turn each visit into an experience, not just a shopping trip. The store connects with the brand’s broader ecosystem, which includes sports, wellness and services. Thus, the unit encourages movement, self-care and a sense of community.

TFC Food & Market inside the store

As part of this new phase, the Rio Sul store now includes TFC Food & Market. The concept brings together a café and minimarket with a curated selection focused on functional food and convenience. All items follow the brand’s active and healthy lifestyle positioning.

The menu features specialty coffee, juices, snacks, bowls and selected products linked to the wellness universe. The area invites customers to stay longer and use the store as a meeting point. In turn, this strengthens Track&Field’s relationship with its wellness community.

Christmas destination for gifts and experiences

With the larger space, full experience concept and arrival of TFC, the new store becomes a year-end destination. It serves those looking for Christmas gifts related to sports, self-care and movement. At the same time, it offers a healthy break during shopping at the mall.

The project reinforces Track&Field as a complete wellness ecosystem that goes beyond traditional retail. Products, services and experiences coexist in a single environment. This approach deepens the brand’s connection with Rio de Janeiro consumers.

“The new store at Rio Sul represents an important step in our expansion strategy in Rio de Janeiro. The larger area and the arrival of TFC strengthen our purpose of creating spaces that go beyond shopping, promoting connection, experiences and a more active lifestyle. Doing this on the eve of Christmas makes the moment even more special,” says Fred Wagner, Track&Field’s VP of New Business.

Growing the ecosystem in Rio

The Rio Sul opening complements Track&Field’s presence in Rio’s capital, which already has an Experience Store in Ipanema. The expansion follows the growth of the brand’s ecosystem across Brazil. This network connects physical spaces, events and digital platforms.

One of these pillars is TFSports, the company’s wellness platform. In the third quarter of 2025, it held 1,302 events, with 146.3 thousand registrants. The base already surpasses 1.1 million users and 8.8 thousand trainers across the country.

Launched in 2021, TFC Food & Market integrates cafés and minimarkets into Track&Field stores. The focus lies on healthy eating, convenience and authorial products. Present in several Brazilian capitals, TFC has become a key growth driver for the brand’s ecosystem.

TFSports is Track&Field’s wellness platform, designed to promote events and connect users with professionals, products and services. It encourages an active and healthy lifestyle through races, training sessions and other activities. The initiative helps build a nationwide wellness community.
