Fishing 440 Raptor, the “Ferrari of the seas”, blends power and lounge deck

Super-sporty Fishing 440 Raptor delivers up to 1200 hp and a hydraulic deck-lounge, uniting high performance, water sports and relaxed sea-level living.

High performance with yacht-like style

Among fans of water sports and sport fishing, the Fishing 440 Raptor, a 44-foot model, has been standing out in Brazilian marinas. Built by Fishing Raptor, the super-sporty boat combines a high-resistance hull with up to three 400 hp outboard engines, reaching 1200 hp in total. As a result, it delivers fast acceleration, precise response and high-speed cruising.

With its side doors closed, the 440 Raptor lives up to its nickname as a “Ferrari of the seas”. The deep-V hull and engine configurations, which also include two 350 hp sterndrive engines, were designed for longer crossings, offshore fishing and diving. Thus, the boat merges sports performance, sharp handling and a look that recalls a compact luxury yacht.

Hydraulic side doors that create a sea-level lounge

The boat’s signature feature is at the stern, where two hydraulic side doors open directly over the water. When activated, they widen the aft beam, expanding the deck and creating a genuine sea-level lounge. The hull contour opens out and the area turns into extra space for chairs, boards, diving gear and free movement.

“It is almost as if the boat opens a balcony to the sea,” summarizes Fernando Assinato, CEO of Fishing Raptor. He explains that the 440 Raptor was born as a super-sporty model but also needed to work as a lounge on the water. In this way, it offers extra usable area to enjoy summer days, anchor in coves, fish in comfort or spend hours diving without feeling restricted by space.

Big-yacht solution adapted to a 44-footer

This type of expanding platform, more common on larger yachts, was adapted to the scale of a 44-foot boat. The project received structural reinforcements and a careful weight-distribution study to preserve stability and safety. In daily use, the stern becomes the natural social hub on board, where most activities take place.

It is the spot where children jump into and out of the sea, fishing gear is organized and sunset barbecues take place. From the outside, the scene resembles a floating suspended deck. From on board, the feeling is that the boat has been “extended” a few extra meters toward the water, increasing direct contact with the sea.

Cabin comfort for longer stays

Inside, the 440 Raptor shows that it is more than an engineering trick. The midship private cabin, with panoramic windows, was conceived for overnight stays, naps between outings and longer periods living on board. Therefore, the model goes beyond the typical quick weekend rides.

The bathroom includes a shower and finishes similar to those of a small yacht, reinforcing a focus on extended use. Interior details aim to recreate the feel of a second home on the water, with structure for multi-day trips. Consequently, the boat caters both to adrenaline seekers and to owners who enjoy slower, more relaxed cruising.

Versatile bow and “floating home” concept

At the bow, the layout features a multifunctional space that can operate as a second cabin or convert into a galley. The area can be fitted with a minibar, microwave and cooktop, creating a compact gourmet zone. A skylight and side windows bring in natural light and keep the sea in view even below deck.

This design aligns with the trend of treating boats as an extension of the home, with living room, bedroom and social areas in floating form. Thus, owners can switch easily between days of sporty navigation and moments of laid-back living on board. The result is a more versatile use profile, balancing performance and comfort.

Sporty design and intuitive handling

On the exterior, the Fishing 440 Raptor speaks a purely sporty design language. The one-piece windshield, European-inspired radar arch and strong character lines reinforce the image of a high-performance boat. Visually, it comes close to a luxury sports car translated to the water.

At the helm, an intuitive joystick and electronic maneuvering systems stand out. These solutions bring the driving experience closer to that of high-performance cars, with instant response to commands. In addition, technology assists in tight-marina maneuvers, increasing confidence for both seasoned and less experienced captains.

For those who want adrenaline and space

“The 440 Raptor was designed for clients who love adrenaline but do not want to give up space, comfort and a more sophisticated boat experience. The hydraulic doors, cabin with sea view and versatile bow are parts of the same idea: the boat must work both when you are speeding and when everyone just wants to stay anchored, talking and swimming,” says Assinato.

With this proposal, the model targets families and groups who want to combine sports, leisure and social life in a single platform. It suits summer days at anchor, fishing trips and full-day outings. In short, the blend of performance and lounge-style deck explains why it has earned the nickname “Ferrari of the seas”.
