Paulinho Moska se apresenta no Casa Light dia 18/12, no Teatro Laura Alvim, em show intimista com tickets from R$5.
Paulinho Moska at Casa Light
Multi-artist Paulinho Moska is the next highlight of Casa Light, performing this Thursday, 18 December, at Teatro Laura Alvim in Ipanema. The concert is part of the second season of the project, known for its intimate and memorable shows. In addition, tickets are affordable, starting at R$5.
After attracting around 3,000 people to see 28 artists, including Chico César and Hamilton de Holanda, Casa Light returns to the same venue. The new season keeps the close atmosphere between artists and audience, with about 150 people per show. The concerts take place on Thursdays, starting at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased through Funarj’s official website or at the theatre box office. Prices are R$10 for full tickets and R$5 for half-price entry. Thus, the project reinforces its goal of making live music more accessible to a wider audience.
Curated blend of tradition and new voices
From November to January, curator Rafaello Ramundo presents a line-up that crosses genres and stories. The second season reopened on 13 November with the engaging sound of Josiel Konrad. Then the stage hosted the samba of Mosquito (20/11), the strong theatrical presence of Laila Garin (27/11) and the pop revelation Laura Simões (04/12).
After Paulinho Moska, Casa Light starts 2026 with shows by Latin Grammy winners Zé Ibarra (8 January) and Dora Morelenbaum (15 January), plus a concert by Gustavo Pereira (22 January). This way, the project continues to showcase established names and the new generation of Brazilian music.
Music, encounters and cultural value
According to Light, the main goal of the festival is to support events that promote culture and art and to value local heritage. Casa Light is designed as a space for genuine encounters between artists and fans. It goes beyond a traditional concert series and focuses on a unique live experience.
“We decided to give back to Rio with what it has best: music, art and encounters. Casa Light is a gift to the city, a way of lighting not only homes, but also the culture and talent of our local artists. The success of the first season showed how this connection with the public is transformative and inspires us to keep valuing the cultural scene with a new, even more special edition,” says Vinicius Roriz, vice president of Light.
As in its debut, the project invites the public to enjoy a unique, close-up experience with the artists. All performances take place at Teatro Laura Alvim, in Rio’s South Zone. For curator Rafaello Ramundo, the festival is a true celebration of Brazilian music in its essence.
“Casa Light was created to unite tradition and novelty, bringing the audience closer to great masters of our music, while also giving space to talents who are writing the next chapters of this story. The successful experience of the previous season shows how Rio and its residents feel embraced by initiatives like this. I am sure it will be no different now,” says Rafaello Ramundo.
Sponsorship and cultural commitment
The initiative is sponsored by Light through the Rio de Janeiro State Culture Incentive Law (ICMS), in partnership with the State Secretariat for Culture and Creative Economy. Therefore, the project underscores the company’s commitment to culture and to the city’s development.
