TIME and Statista rank Morena Rosa among the Best Brazilian Brands in the World and second in swimwear.
Global recognition in the swimwear segment
Fashion label Morena Rosa has been recognized as one of the best Brazilian brands in the swimwear segment in a ranking by TIME magazine in partnership with Statista. The survey places the brand in second position within the category, underscoring its relevance and leadership in the market. This acknowledgement consolidates its role as a key name in Brazilian beachwear on the global stage.
Statista is one of the world’s leading providers of market data, rankings and consumer insights. The study surveyed an average of 130,000 consumers across six countries: the United States, Mexico, Germany, the United Kingdom, Brazil and India. In each of the 72 categories, only five brands were selected.
The ranking aims to offer an impartial view of how customers perceive and interact with brands. Evaluation criteria included Brand Awareness, Communication, Loyalty, Affinity and Usage. As a result, Morena Rosa’s performance reflects the strength of its relationship with consumers in different markets.
Brazilian essence in contemporary collections
Founded in 1993, Morena Rosa builds its identity around the essence of Brazilian women. This vision guides all its collections and is especially evident in its swimwear line, which blends textures, colors and details that capture the label’s rhythm. The brand invests in sophisticated, vibrant beachwear.
The pieces are designed to flatter different body shapes, featuring contemporary cuts and exclusive prints. In addition, the color palette channels the brand’s energy, with tones that evoke Brazilian lifestyle and beach culture. In this way, Morena Rosa has developed a distinctive visual DNA.
The positioning combines aesthetics, comfort and versatility, speaking to women who seek standout yet functional pieces. As a result, the brand secures space both in vacation wardrobes and in everyday looks in coastal or urban destinations. The international recognition reinforces this value proposition.
Building a connection beyond Brazil
According to Lucas Franzato, CEO of Grupo Morena Rosa, being featured in TIME and Statista’s ranking is a major milestone. He highlights the survey’s rigorous and global nature, which limits recognition to a small group of top-performing brands. For the company, the result crowns years of consistent work.
“It is a great honor and pride to be mentioned in this list, in such a rigorous and global ranking. This result shows that Morena Rosa has built a genuine connection with its audience and that our value proposition is being recognized beyond Brazil. It encourages us to keep evolving and taking Brazilian fashion even further.”
The Morena Rosa Beach line is available at the brand’s brick-and-mortar stores and through its official e-commerce. This allows customers in different regions to access the beachwear portfolio with ease. The global recognition is likely to further boost the label’s international expansion.
