MRV Sales School trains over 8,000 brokers

MRV Sales School has trained over 8,000 real estate brokers and helps accelerate their first sale in the housing market.

Sector growth and need for skills

The World Economic Forum estimates that 59% of professionals worldwide will need reskilling by 2030. It also points out that construction is among the sectors with the highest expected job growth. Therefore, the market should become increasingly competitive and demanding.

Professional qualification also benefits companies, which see direct impact on business performance. MRV, the largest construction company in Latin America, invests in the development of employees and partners. In 2022, the company launched the Sales School, a distance-learning platform for accredited brokers and promoters.

Online platform with practical paths

The Sales School offers more than 30 short courses on topics such as mortgage credit, digital marketing, time management and financial education. It also covers emotional intelligence and other soft skills. The content is organized into learning paths that combine theory and practice.

These paths mix online classes, in-store activities and live sessions with human development analysts. In this way, brokers receive guidance through every stage of the sales process, from prospecting to after-sales. A coach broker supports newcomers, answers questions and guides their professional journey.

More than 8,000 professionals trained

The Sales School has already trained more than 8,000 professionals and registered around 13,000 completed courses. Broker Caroline Azevedo, 34, is among those who took part. She left her job selling loans at a bank and moved to real estate this year.

“The course content is extensive and I was able to clear all my doubts. Since I had never worked in real estate, the School helped me a lot in this journey. I learned the right way to approach clients, which is very different from other products I had sold. In addition, it showed me the importance of investing in training,” says Caroline, a self-employed broker accredited by MRV.

Initial path and continuous learning

The World Economic Forum report highlights curiosity and continuous learning among the ten skills most in demand by 2030. At the Sales School, professionals can access different subjects, but the journey starts with the initial path. This stage includes 44 hours of training, equivalent to about 10 days.

The initial path covers MRV products, credit policies, ethics, integrity and commercial practices. Participation is not mandatory, however, more than 80% of new professionals join the program. Thus, the company encourages a culture of ongoing development.

Lower turnover and faster first sale

The results show immediate impact on turnover and sales performance. Average churn among new professionals is 11.7%. However, for those who complete the initial path within 90 days, the rate drops to 6%.

Furthermore, brokers who receive the training complete their first sale on average eight days earlier than others. As a result, the program speeds up returns for both professionals and the company. The initiative strengthens preparation for a more competitive real estate market.

Structured training in real estate

“The Sales School is one of the most structured training platforms in the real estate sector. It offers all the support needed for brokers to reach the market prepared, with strong knowledge of real estate sales, credit policies, product differentials, integrity in negotiations and much more. It is comprehensive training that is constantly updated,” says Thiago Ely, Executive Commercial and Marketing Director at MRV&CO.
