Brazilian band Lagum launches 2026 summer tour with eight shows and prepares the international leg of its tour.

A busy start for the new year

After a remarkable 2025, Lagum begins 2026 on the road with a new summer tour. The group released the album “As Cores, as Curvas e as Dores do Mundo”, played more than 35 shows across Brazil and opened the Brazilian leg of Imagine Dragons’ tour.

Now, the Minas Gerais band prepares eight concerts between January and March. The setlist revisits 11 years of career and presents songs from the most recent album. Thus, audiences experience the group’s current phase on stages in several regions.

Cities and dates of the summer tour

The first show takes place in São Bernardo do Campo on January 23, a Friday. The following day, January 24, the band performs in Bauru. Rio de Janeiro hosts the group on January 31 at Morro da Urca, as part of the Noites de Verão project.

In February, Lagum plays in Balneário Camboriú on the 6th and in Jaraguá do Sul, Santa Catarina, on the 8th. In March, the tour reaches Rondonópolis, Cuiabá and Campo Grande on the 6th, 7th and 8th, respectively.

Tickets for São Bernardo do Campo, Bauru and Rio de Janeiro are already on sale. For the remaining cities, sales start on December 12. Therefore, fans can plan ahead to follow the new tour.

Plans for 2026 and international tour

Vocalist Pedro Calais highlights that 2025 marked the band’s journey in several ways. The group brought its show to new cities, achieved its best streaming debut with the latest album and opened Imagine Dragons’ tour in Brazil.

The singer refers to the track “2026”, released in 2016 on the album “Seja o Que Eu Quiser”, which mentions “faço planos para agosto de 2026” in the chorus. In this way, the band’s new moment echoes its own history.

After the summer tour, Lagum takes the show “As Cores, as Curvas e as Dores do Mundo” to Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Dublin, Barcelona, Porto and Lisbon. The group, therefore, expands its presence on international stages.

Concerts until the end of 2025

Before closing 2025, the band still performs in Toledo, Maringá, Porto Alegre and Belo Horizonte. In the Minas Gerais capital, the group plays at Virada da Liberdade on December 31, marking its first New Year’s Eve show.

Recognized as one of the leading bands of the current Brazilian scene, Lagum presents new tracks alongside major hits. The concerts seek a visceral and cathartic experience, with tones and arrangements crafted exclusively for the stage.

The idea is to offer fresh versions of familiar songs. Thus, each performance invites fans on a sensory journey, with new sounds and creative provocations.

    Concept behind the new album

The album “As Cores, as Curvas e as Dores do Mundo” goes beyond pure entertainment. It provokes and questions the modern world, proposing a careful look at city life and everyday beauty.

The record also challenges how audiences perceive reality today. In this sense, it creates a bridge between street life and the world filtered by screens, highlighting contradictions and subtle encounters.

    Lagum’s path and identity

With three albums nominated for the Latin Grammy — “Memórias (De Onde Eu Nunca Fui)” (2022), “Depois do Fim” (2023) and “LAGUM AO VIVO” (2023) — Lagum has secured a strong position in Brazilian music. The band was formed in 2014 in Minas Gerais.

The lineup includes Pedro Calais (vocals), Zani (Otavio Cardoso) and Jorge (Glauco Borges) on guitars and Chico (Francisco Jardim) on bass. Over time, they met Tio Wilson (Breno Braga), who took over the drums and left a deep mark on the group’s story.

Blending rock, pop, reggae, indie and other influences, Lagum avoids strict labels. This aesthetic freedom reflects the search for artistic identity, resulting in an authentic sound that moves confidently between genres.

From debut record to national attention

The debut album “Seja o Que Eu Quiser” (2016) introduced the band’s original songs to the public. It also opened the way for a steadily growing career, with more shows and visibility.

Among the singles, the track “Deixa” became a hit on digital platforms and radio, pushing the band into the national spotlight. In 2019, the second album “Coisas da Geração” expanded their audience with songs like “Oi”, leading to tours in Brazil and abroad.

Loss, reinvention and a new creative chapter

In 2020, Lagum faced the loss of drummer Tio Wilson, who died from cardiac arrest caused by dilated cardiomyopathy. The 2021 album “Memórias (De Onde Eu Nunca Fui)” preserved his final recordings.

The release also highlighted the band’s ability to turn grief into art, earning a first Latin Grammy nomination. In 2023, the EP “FIM” and the album “Depois do Fim” signaled a new era, with sonic experimentation and confessional lyrics.

“Depois do Fim” reached the Top 50 on Spotify Brazil in less than a week. In addition, visuals filmed in Belo Horizonte expanded the work’s artistic universe.

    Live projects and carnival block

In the same year, the group released “LAGUM AO VIVO”, recorded for an audience of 8,000 at Espaço Unimed (SP). This project reinforced the band’s strength on stage.

In 2024, Lagum launched the carnival street project “Lagum na Avenida”. Across the 2024 and 2025 editions, more than 200,000 revelers filled the streets of Belo Horizonte, turning the block into a major local attraction.

In May 2025, the band released “As Cores, as Curvas e as Dores do Mundo”, whose 10 new tracks capture the raw energy of the group’s live shows. Therefore, the album strengthens the connection between stage performance and studio work.

The record invites listeners to go beyond entertainment, provoking and questioning. It encourages audiences to find beauty and contradiction in urban and everyday life, contrasting the streets with the screen-mediated world.
