Salton debuts its first physical point in Rio with a kiosk at Sugarloaf Cable Car Park, serving wines, sparkling wines and drinks alongside Errejota B..
First Salton outlet in Rio de Janeiro
Tourists and visitors at the Sugarloaf Cable Car Park in Rio de Janeiro now have a new way to toast the view. A kiosk on site serves drinks, wines and sparkling wines from Salton during the visit. The initiative marks the winery’s first physical outlet in the city.
The project is the result of a partnership with traditional Rio-based sweets brand Errejota B.. Together, the companies bring Salton’s labels into one of Brazil’s most iconic tourist attractions. The move strengthens the brand’s strategy of being present in high-visibility locations.
Light and relaxed gastronomic experience
The collaboration between Salton and Errejota B. created a space focused on a light, relaxed gastronomic experience. The menu combines brownies, mini cakes and desserts from Errejota B. with a selection of Salton wines and sparkling wines. In addition, the kiosk serves some of the brand’s best-known drinks.
Salton’s debut in a physical point of sale in Rio reinforces its goal of staying closer to consumers. The winery seeks to occupy spaces with intense tourist traffic and strong image appeal. Thus, it helps make its labels even more recognized and widespread in the market.
Only winery with its own space at Sugarloaf
A leader in the Brazilian sparkling wine segment, Salton is the only winery with its own space within the Sugarloaf complex. The site is one of the most visited landmarks in the country. This presence reinforces the winery’s leadership in the category.
“We want to offer tourists and locals a light, effervescent and typically Brazilian experience, showing that sparkling wines and wines can indeed be the perfect combination to celebrate life in the most diverse spaces and moments,” says executive director Luciana Salton.
The menu was designed to match Rio’s climate and the spectacular views of the park. Guests can order glasses of sparkling wine and still wines. Drinks such as Aperol Spritz, Limoncello Spritz, Sunset Rio and Mimosa complete the experience.
