Historic Palácio Avenida gets 105,000 LED lights and hosts Bradesco’s 35th Christmas edition with free shows and live stream.
Historic façade illuminated until January
Until January 6, 2026, visitors walking along Rua XV de Novembro in Curitiba can enjoy the Christmas décor of Palácio Avenida, officially lit on December 1. The landmark building’s façade is covered with more than 105,000 lights, combining microlights and scenic lighting.
The entire installation uses low-consumption LEDs, which can cut energy use by up to 80%. Smart controllers with sensors and timers adjust brightness according to natural light, blending tradition with sustainability.
“The Magic Christmas Palace” celebrates 35th edition
Bradesco’s Christmas reaches its 35th edition with the theme “The Magic Christmas Palace”, inviting audiences to reconnect with childhood wonder and the sense of magic the season evokes.
Live performances will take place over two weekends, on December 5 (dress rehearsal), 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14, always at 8:15 p.m., in front of Palácio Avenida in downtown Curitiba. The building once again becomes the backdrop for one of the city’s most traditional holiday shows.
Live broadcast shares Curitiba’s Christmas worldwide
As in previous years, the show will be live streamed on the official Teatro Bradesco YouTube channel on Saturday, December 6, starting at 8:15 p.m.. This allows viewers from across Brazil and abroad to experience Curitiba’s Christmas spectacle from afar.
