Monsters of Rock 2026 confirms Guns N’ Roses, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Extreme, Halestorm and more at Allianz Parque; tickets via Eventim.

Complete lineup and date in São Paulo

Monsters of Rock has unveiled the full lineup for its ninth edition, set for April 4, 2026, at Allianz Parque in São Paulo. The festival will feature Guns N’ Roses, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Extreme and Halestorm, plus Yngwie Malmsteen, Dirty Honey and Jayler.

With this roster, the 2026 edition stands as one of the most powerful lineups in the festival’s history. Tickets are already on sale exclusively through Eventim. In this way, Monsters of Rock reinforces its status as Brazil’s most important rock festival.

A tribute to guitar legends

The 2026 Monsters of Rock celebrates some of the greatest guitarists in rock history. Among them are Slash, from Guns N’ Roses, and Nuno Bettencourt, from Extreme, widely regarded as one of the top virtuosos of his generation.

The festival also highlights Yngwie Malmsteen, a defining figure of neoclassical metal, and the legendary three-guitar attack of Lynyrd Skynyrd: Rickey Medlocke, Mark “Sparky” Matejka and Damon Johnson. Thus, the stage becomes a true shrine to the electric guitar.

New generation of hard rock

At the same time, the lineup showcases the energy of a new generation shaping hard rock’s future. Halestorm arrives as one of today’s most powerful bands, known for incendiary shows and a commanding stage presence.

Dirty Honey has already become one of the genre’s biggest global revelations, while Jayler, a rising British act, emerges as a strong contender on the international scene. In this way, the festival unites legends, virtuosos and new names in a single historic night.

Produced by Mercury Concerts, Monsters of Rock brings together icons, technical mastery and the future of the genre. The event promises a unique experience that connects generations and some of the biggest names in rock worldwide.

Guns N’ Roses: milestones and mega tours

Guns N’ Roses is one of the greatest rock bands of all time and the force behind “Appetite for Destruction” (1987). The record is the best-selling debut album in US history and a defining landmark for the genre.

In the early 1990s, the band topped charts worldwide with “Use Your Illusion I and II”, building a catalog that has surpassed 100 million albums sold. Decades later, the “Not In This Lifetime…” tour (2016–2019) became the fourth highest-grossing tour in history.

As a result, the group remains synonymous with power, influence and unforgettable live performances. Their appearance at Monsters of Rock 2026 further cements this ongoing legacy.

Lynyrd Skynyrd: southern rock royalty

A cornerstone of southern rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd emerged in the 1970s with triple-guitar arrangements and a strong southern identity. Timeless anthems like “Free Bird” and “Sweet Home Alabama” became permanent fixtures in rock history.

After the devastating 1977 plane crash, the band returned in 1987 with Johnny Van Zant on vocals, keeping its legacy alive onstage and in the studio. With more than five decades behind them, Lynyrd Skynyrd remains one of the most influential and enduring American rock bands.

Extreme: innovation and flair

Formed in Boston by Gary Cherone, Nuno Bettencourt, Pat Badger and Kevin Figueiredo, Extreme became one of the late 80s’ most innovative bands. The group blended hard rock, metal and funk with remarkable technical skill.

With more than 10 million records sold, Extreme conquered the world with “Pornograffitti” (1990), which produced the number 1 hit “More Than Words” and classics like “Hole Hearted”. In 2023, the band returned to the spotlight with “Six”, driven by Nuno Bettencourt’s global reputation.

Today, Extreme continues to sell out arenas and maintain a strong worldwide presence. Their slot at Monsters of Rock underlines the weight of their catalog and guitar-driven sound.

Halestorm, Yngwie Malmsteen, Dirty Honey and Jayler

Fronted by the powerful Lzzy Hale, alongside Arejay Hale, Joe Hottinger and Josh Smith, Halestorm has become one of modern rock’s most influential bands. The group has billions of streams, seven number 1 singles and a Grammy for “Love Bites (So Do I)”.

Swedish virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen is a key architect of neoclassical metal, fusing extreme technique with classical influences. His 1984 album “Rising Force” was Grammy-nominated and is considered a turning point in modern guitar playing.

Formed in Los Angeles in 2017, Dirty Honey quickly became one of rock’s most exciting acts by revitalizing hard rock with 70s influences. The band made history in 2019 by reaching number 1 on Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs independently with “When I’m Gone”.

British band Jayler emerged in 2022 after James Bartholomew and Tyler Arrowsmith teamed up at an open mic. Their debut EP “A Piece in Our Time” (2023) and singles like “Riverboat Queen” (2025) showcased strong riffs and vintage energy, placing them among the top new names in contemporary rock.
