For Rio Carnival 2026, Liesa opens last-call stand sales and, for the first time, offers Sector 9 seats directly to the general public.
Last remaining stand tickets for 2026
Starting this Tuesday (2), on Brazil’s National Samba Day, Liesa is launching the last call for stand tickets for the Rio Carnival 2026 parades at Marquês de Sapucaí. This final sales phase brings an important novelty: for the first time, Sector 9 will be officially sold to the general public.
Historically linked to tourist experiences at Sapucaí, Sector 9 now joins the official ticket offer for Rio Carnival, widening audience choices and aiming to further enhance the viewing experience for parade-goers.
Sector 9: numbered seats and privileged view
Located near the second percussion retreat, Sector 9 offers a prime view of the runway and stands out from other sectors by featuring numbered seats. This configuration brings more comfort and organization to those who want a guaranteed place in a strategic area of the Sambadrome.
“Each year, we work to improve how the public experiences Carnival at Sapucaí. By bringing Sector 9 into official sales, we expand choice and offer a special stand category, with numbered seats and a more organized experience for those who want to follow the parades,” says the League’s financial director, João Drumond.
Premium category and official sales via Ticketmaster
Due to its distinct seating layout and location, Sector 9 will have a higher ticket price than other stands, positioning it as a differentiated category within the range of options available to spectators.
The offer covers the last remaining stand seats for Rio Carnival 2026, with limited availability and sales while supplies last. Tickets are sold exclusively through Ticketmaster’s official channels, starting at 11 a.m. this Tuesday (2), a measure designed to curb resellers and ensure secure purchases.
Additional details on prices, sectors and purchasing conditions are available on Liesa’s official channels, the primary reference for those planning to attend the parades at Marquês de Sapucaí.
