Anitta unveils cover of new EP “Ensaios da Anitta”

Anitta announces new EP “Ensaios da Anitta” with six unreleased tracks that set the tone for her pre-Carnival season.

Cover art and release schedule

The EP “Ensaios da Anitta” will be released on streaming platforms at 9 p.m. next Thursday (4), kicking off the singer’s pre-Carnival season. The cover art was revealed this Friday (28), building anticipation among fans.

The EP brings six new tracks, which will be added to the album of the same name, originally released in December 2024. In this way, the project gains an expanded version, updating the Carnival‑oriented repertoire.

Brazilian rhythms at the heart of the project

Anitta explains that the EP reflects the mix of influences that shapes her Carnival. “My Carnival is made of many different rhythms and influences, you know. The new songs celebrate all that richness,” she says.

The new tracks blend funk, tecnomelody, piseiro and electronic music, among other references. The idea is to capture in the studio the energy and diversity of Brazil’s biggest party.

Collaborations and unreleased songs

Along with the cover reveal, Anitta announced a feature by Felipe Amorim on the unreleased track “Gostosin”, which had a teaser released this Friday. The collaboration highlights her connection with contemporary northeastern sounds.

The EP will also include “Só Pra Tu”, a collaboration with Pará singer Viviane Batidão, first performed on stage at the Global Citizen Festival: Amazônia in November. The track reinforces the presence of northern Brazilian rhythms in the project.

A growing annual Carnival EP series

Anitta plans to release new pre‑Carnival EPs every year, continually adding tracks to the “Ensaios da Anitta” album. The first edition of the project came out in November 2024.

Over time, the album will evolve into a large Carnival catalog, updated annually with new songs. The idea is to build a living, expanding soundtrack for the artist’s Carnival seasons.
