Casa Perini was featured in a video by German sommelier and influencer Konstantin Baum during a tasting session of Brazilian sparkling wines. Recognized as the youngest German to achieve the Master of Wine title, Baum praised the Vintage Brut Barriqué, granting it a score of 90.
International assessment and technical recognition
According to Baum, the sparkling wine demonstrates outstanding complexity and character. Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes and aged for two months in French oak barrels, the label stands out for its balance between youth, freshness and oak presence.
“I don’t think I have ever tasted a sparkling wine like this before, with oak influence but also youth and freshness. That is a very rare combination. It’s balanced, beautiful and different.”
The evaluation follows a system based on Parker Points, which assesses appearance, aroma, flavor, balance, complexity and aging potential on a scale ranging from 50 to 100 points.
