Fernando de Noronha once again stands out as one of Brazil’s most sought-after destinations for New Year’s celebrations. Recent data from the Brazilian Hotel Industry Association point to an estimated occupancy rate of 88.13%, reinforcing the island’s strong tourism appeal.
Iconic parties drive exclusive experiences
Among the highlights are events promoted by local partners. The Zé Maria New Year’s Eve remains a prestigious celebration, combining high-end gastronomy and curated experiences. For 2026, the event features the “Origem Edition”, from December 28 to January 2, with themed nights, open bar, open food and the traditional galinhada to close the festivities.
The Forte New Year’s Eve, held at Forte Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, offers a sophisticated and immersive proposal. From December 29 to 31, guests enjoy premium open bar and a special open food experience on New Year’s night. The schedule also includes the daytime event “Coffee Party & Movement”, focused on wellness, music and nature connection.
Public celebration and national artists
The District Administration confirmed a free public celebration at Praia do Porto on December 31, January 1 and 3. The lineup features major Brazilian artists such as Silva, Priscila Senna, Xand Avião and Banda Eva, alongside local performers, creating an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere.
VIP areas with beverage service will also be available, offering added comfort for visitors seeking a premium experience.

According to Hayrton Almeida, president of Visite Noronha, the figures confirm the island’s strong positioning. “The archipelago is experiencing a special moment, with qualified demand and growing national and international recognition. The mix of traditional parties, unique hospitality and inclusive public programming strengthens our image as a unique destination to welcome the New Year,” he states.
