Sabrina and Karina Sato become partners of Camarote Nº1, strengthening the expansion strategy of one of Rio Carnival’s most prestigious spaces.
Camarote Nº1 has announced Sabrina Sato and Karina Sato as new partners, reinforcing the management of one of the most iconic venues at the Marquês de Sapucaí. After ten years of collaboration, the sisters now join José Victor Oliva, Ju Ferraz, Marcio Esher, Flavio Sarahyba and Antônio Oliva to shape the future of the project over the next three decades.
A new strategic phase
This move is part of Camarote Nº1’s ongoing growth plan, positioning the venue as a key economic driver during Rio Carnival. In 2025, the space recorded a 20% growth rate and added an extra event day, generating an additional R$10 million in revenue.
“I first invited Sabrina to be the Camarote’s muse in 2014. Even then, I saw her potential as one of the most relevant names of Carnival. Now this relationship becomes even more strategic,” says Victor Oliva.
Female leadership and business vision
Having served as Queen of Camarote Nº1 for over nine years, Sabrina now expands her role behind the scenes, contributing directly to the project’s strategic development. Karina brings her business expertise to strengthen brand partnerships and commercial opportunities.
“After so many years as Queen, becoming part of the backstage as a partner and helping shape the business is truly special,” says Sabrina Sato.
“This is a natural step in our journey. We want to combine management expertise with the passion Carnaval inspires,” adds Karina Sato.
Repositioning and new sponsorships
The arrival of the Sato family has attracted new sponsors, including Havaianas, which will activate exclusive experiences at the 35th edition of Camarote Nº1. The event will take place on February 15, 16, 17 and 21, at sector 2 of the Sambadrome, with tickets available via Ticketmaster starting at R$4,250.
