L’Oréal Group promotes Dermatology + Inclusive Award webinars to boost representative research and strengthen scientific production in Brazil.
L’Oréal Group in Brazil, through its Dermatological Beauty Division, has announced two exclusive webinars to strengthen the debate on Dermatology + Inclusive and encourage national scientific production. The virtual meetings will take place on November 25 at 5:00 pm and November 28 at 11:30 am, as part of the second edition of the Dermatology + Inclusive Award.
Registrations remain open until December 4 and aim to expand the representativeness of dermatological research focused on Brazilian skin. The initiative seeks to stimulate more inclusive studies and guide researchers and students through the project submission process.
Webinars strengthen debate on inclusion in dermatology
The online events focus on deepening discussions about challenges and opportunities for more representative research, especially concerning historically underrepresented populations such as Black, Indigenous and transgender people. The webinars also serve as an informational platform to clarify the criteria and stages of the award application process.
The program will feature participation from specialists such as Cris Garcia, Mariana Feiges and representatives from ABGI Brasil, reinforcing the technical and strategic nature of the initiative.
Recognition and support for scientific research
In its second edition, the Dermatology + Inclusive Award expands its scope to include research focused on Indigenous and transgender populations. Four research projects will be awarded, each receiving grants of R$ 50,000 to support studies in the following priority areas: Acne and oily skin; Skin barrier; Scalp and hair fiber; and Photoprotection and hyperpigmentation.
The award accepts studies that are already completed or in development, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to reducing inequalities in access to skin health and promoting more inclusive scientific advances.
How to apply
Researchers and students can submit their projects through the official award platform. The submission deadline is December 4, 2025. Partial results will be announced starting March 23, 2026.
Webinar dates: November 25 at 5:00 pm and November 28 at 11:30 am.
