Daniel Tonetto presents the novel “A Cor Que Nos Separa” at the 2nd Lusophone Book Fair in Paris, expanding his international reach.

Writer and criminal lawyer Daniel Tonetto launched his new crime novel A Cor Que Nos Separa during the 2nd Lusophone Book Fair in Paris, one of the most important international events dedicated to Portuguese-language literature. The participation marks another step in strengthening his presence on the global literary scene.

    Brazilian presence in Paris

Representing Brazilian authors in the French capital, Tonetto took part in debates and meetings with writers, editors and literary agents from different countries. He was welcomed by the European Union of Portuguese Language Writers, responsible for organizing the event and promoting integration among Lusophone literary productions.

With a narrative driven by suspense, psychological depth and social critique, the novel strengthens Tonetto’s recognition as a rising voice in Brazilian crime fiction. The book has already become a sales success in Brazil and continues to expand its reach among international readers.

    International projection

The novel is currently being translated into English and French, with international releases scheduled for 2026. Its reception in Paris highlights growing interest from foreign publishers and reinforces its global circulation.

“Bringing this book to Paris shows that human concerns — those that cross families, memories and choices — speak to readers anywhere. It is a privilege to see this story cross borders with such generosity,” says Daniel Tonetto.

The French launch further consolidates the author’s international trajectory and strengthens the presence of contemporary Brazilian literature on the global stage.
